New Music

Music has always been a significant part of my life. I grew up listening to a lot of country music but later discovered new music through friends and developed a love for pop and EDM. Country music feels like an older and more traditional style of music compared to the more technical beats of pop music and synthesizers used in EDM. In this piece, I wanted to show this transition from old to new by taking a simple pose of me playing the guitar and adding or taking away elements through glitches and missing elements of the scene. This shows not only my personal transition through music but also what technology has done for music to create entirely new sounds and genres that many people, including myself, have come to love.
